Anchorage Salon Owner Marcy. She has long purple vivid hair and is wearing beautiful extensions. She specializes in grey blending, balayage and vivid color.

Marcy is the owner of Misfits Salon and a Master Stylist with a career in the beauty industry dating back to 1998. Her work is rooted in artistry, transformation, education, and a deep belief that beauty has the power to help people feel seen, confident, and strong.
Her journey has not been easy, but it has shaped the leader, stylist, mentor, and woman she is today. After overcoming addiction in 2015 and walking through the heartbreaking loss of her son in 2021, Marcy rebuilt her life with strength, faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to helping others rise.
In May 2023, Marcy became the owner of Misfits Salon and brought a new vision to the space. She created a salon built on integrity, individuality, education, and genuine connection. Under her leadership, Misfits has grown into an edgy luxury salon where guests feel welcomed, empowered, and free to show up as their authentic selves.
As a stylist, Marcy specializes in vivid color, balayage, blonding, lived in color, precision haircuts, and extensions. She is passionate about creating customized looks that reflect each guest’s personality, lifestyle, and confidence. Every appointment is about more than hair. It is about trust, transformation, and helping people feel like the best version of themselves.
Marcy is also deeply committed to mentorship and continuing education. She believes in the motto “each one teach one” and pours that belief into her team every day. To her, Misfits Salon is more than a business. It is a family, a creative home, and a place where beauty, resilience, and individuality meet.

Originally born and raised in south-central Alaska, Casper views haircutting as one of his many creative outlets. He developed his meticulous approach to haircutting at the Sassoon Academy in London. After finding immediate success behind the chair, he decided to take his career to NYC. Outside of the salon, you can find him riding his motorcycle or attending music shows. Casper will be doing guest spots at Misfits Salon every 3-4 months.
